Redefining Marriage: The Gay Agenda
I was listening to a sermon yesterday from a well respected and popular pastor out of Texas. His sermon was about marriage and of course the subject of gay marriage came up as part of his sermon.
He stated that there was a push to “redefine” marriage in his country (America) and that why would we go against 1000′s of years of tradition and what tradition has told us marriage should be. He also stated that if America redefined marriage it would result in the complete breakdown of the family and society.
This, of course, is known as part of the “gay agenda” which in part is to destroy the traditional family or so conservative Christians say.
False Fear of Living as a Gay Christian
I remember all too well the sick feeling in my stomach, the cold sweats, and the anxiety that would come over me when I even entertained the idea of living as a gay man and putting an end to the secrecy and lies.
In fact, just a few years ago I couldn’t even get my head around the possibility of being comfortable being a gay man and the possibility that the decision to be myself could end up anywhere other than my destruction. Now looking back, I see that all that fear and anxiety was actually unfounded.
