1 CORINTHIANS 6:9 AND 1 TIMOTHY 1:10
Some versions of the Bible are translated to condemn homosexuality in 1 CORINTHIANS 6:9 AND 1 TIMOTHY 1:10. However, when the original Greek words are studied, we find that there isn’t much evidence that they really mean homosexuality as we know it today.

ROMANS 1:26-27 (NATURAL AND UNNATURAL)
One of the most controversial verses in the Bible in regards to the practice of homosexuality is found in Romans, chapter one. Paul clearly defines the practice as unnatural.
However, we must study the Bible in relation to cultural context which takes into account the people it was written to and the time in which those people lived. If we don’t study scripture in this way then we can justify many things that are today socially unacceptable such as slavery and the unequal treatment of women. Here’s Rev. Gay Abomination: Leviticus 18:22
Dr. Laura was at one time a popular conservative counselor who was asked to do her own talk show where she would often give guests advice. On one episode she clearly condemned a homosexual individual for his lifestyle and quoted Leviticus 18:12 which says that a man should not lie with another man because it is an abomination.

If you have spent anytime in or around church you will have heard that the people of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of homosexuality.
I have heard it taught that every man in the town was gay and this was so detestable to God that he had to destroy all of them along with the innocent women and children, which I guess would make someone question how the city had so many children and booming population when every man in the city was gay….
